Cleo

well....today is the day. the day to say goodbye to our dog of 17 years....known simply as "cleo". you could not have asked for a better "heinz 57" dog from the pound. David and I got her one month after we were married. He picked her out of a box that had 7 siblings sitting on her....she was sooo small. She has adapted to our growing family....she is very protective of all of us....and is just a bit ditzy at times...i'm thankful the Lord grants us animals....this one has brought much pleasure...a tough day in the Grant family....

She's beautiful. Know that you and your family are being covered in prayer today.

My hearts grieves with you. That's a hard thing. What a special gift these animals of ours. And what a sweet dog!

Oh, that is so hard! She looks like a real sweet dog, part of the family.
I'll pray that hearts heal quickly.

Abrham Lincoln stated, "I care not for a man's religion whose dog and cat are not the better for it". As one who first met Cleo just minutes after she had been given a new home I can say that this dog was a God given blessing. I will miss her greatly.

Isn't it wonderful that God cares about our earthly grief, for His created friends in our lives? I'm sad with you, friend, and am well aware that we are not far from that with our 14-year-old "first baby." My heart goes out to you and your family...

Fond memories.....Cleo always running over for a good "scritch" and tummy rub...sitting properly to get her treat bone...always ready to play...

The tears still come.....and will for a long while...
