Baptism

" 1 My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,

2 for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you prosperity.

3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.

4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;

6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight"

Proverbs 3:1-6

I was thinking about the baptism yesterday, wishing I could be there to see who was getting baptized today. How exciting to see Joey there. Bet you were proud. We are right now in process of looking for a church. There are so many and we've been to several so far in all our travels back and forth. Can't wait to get settled and find some women to start fellowshiping with.

Not nice to make Grandma cry.....but they were certainly tears of joy and excitement to watch Joey grow as he moves down his life path. So glad to be here to watch and knowing that Grandpa would be so proud.

Missy, that was such a special morning. Joey is a mature young man- you are blessed, indeed.
