I saw several of you at our church picnic today.....we had a good time. I was surprised it wasn't hot. I think this was the first year I truly enjoyed the time without any stress. I was able to let the kids just run around (including the youngest) and know they would be just fine. It was good to catch up with a few people I haven't had much time with lately. Hope your day was a fun, relaxing remembrance as well...

Missy,
It was so nice talking with you yesterday. And I only lost my kids a few times! :)
I really appreciated what you said on Tim's blog today. It takes a church to raise a community. You really have a gift for writing and putting your thoughts on "paper" (or computer screen in this case.) I tried to comment after you, but I get very tongue-tied and I'm never satisfied that what I truly think is what people are reading. See? That sentence didn't even make sense! Oh well. Just know that I really enjoyed reading your response. I should've just left the comment "Ditto what Missy just said" and left it at that.
Love you, friend!
